Technician – Ophthalmic/Vision

Join our team as a Ophthalmic or Vision Technician, where you will support eye care professionals in providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and administrative services to patients with vision needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient intake, including vision screenings, preliminary testing, and recording medical histories.
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment for eye exams, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.
• Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care, and provide education on eye health and safety.
• Assist with frame selection, lens fitting, and minor repairs or adjustments to eyewear.
• Support ophthalmologists or optometrists during exams and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and accurate documentation.
• Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining patient records.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in eye clinics, ophthalmology practices, optical labs, or vision centers.
• This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong communication skills with patients of all ages.
