Neurodiagnostic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic tests to evaluate the function of the brain and nervous system, providing critical data for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) to assess brain activity and detect abnormalities such as seizures or strokes.
  • Conduct evoked potential (EP) tests to evaluate neurological pathways in response to stimuli.
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures by monitoring electrical activity in the brain and nervous system.
  • Perform long-term monitoring for conditions like epilepsy or sleep disorders using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Work Environment:

  • The role is based in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or specialized labs equipped with state-of-the-art neurodiagnostic technology.
