LPN/LVN – OB/GYN
Join our team as a dedicated LPN/LVN in OB/GYN, where you will provide essential support to physicians and registered nurses in delivering care to women throughout all stages of life, including pregnancy, reproductive health, and gynecological care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient assessments, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for exams or procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections as directed by physicians or registered nurses.
- Support OB/GYN procedures such as Pap smears, prenatal check-ups, and minor office surgeries.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, prenatal care, and postpartum instructions.
- Document patient information accurately in medical records and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and answer patient questions regarding OB/GYN care.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in OB/GYN clinics, women’s health centers, or hospital outpatient departments.
- This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care in sensitive situations.
