Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Catheterization Lab (PEDS Cath Lab)
Join our team as a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Lab (PEDS Cath Lab). In this role, you will assist pediatric cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pediatric patients for cardiac catheterization procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns from families.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs during procedures and respond promptly to any complications.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper sedation levels during procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
- Educate families on post-procedure care instructions, including medication administration and follow-up appointments.
- Document procedural details accurately in medical records while adhering to regulatory standards.
Work Environment:
