Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre Op, Post Op, Same Day Surgery
Job Summary: This RN role involves managing patient care before and after surgical procedures on the same day. Responsibilities include preoperative assessments, monitoring patients’ post-anesthesia recovery, and educating patients for at-home care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preoperative evaluations, ensuring patients are prepared for same-day surgery.
- Monitor patient vitals and condition immediately after procedures.
- Administer post-operative pain management and wound care as needed.
- Educate patients on self-care, activity restrictions, and follow-up appointments.
- Coordinate discharges, ensuring patients meet all safety criteria.
