Registered Nurse (RN) – Maternity
Job Summary: The RN Maternity provides specialized nursing care for pregnant individuals throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. This role involves close collaboration with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure healthy outcomes for mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor maternal health, including vital signs and fetal heart rates.
- Administer prescribed medications and assist during labor and delivery.
- Educate patients on prenatal and postnatal care, including newborn care.
- Coordinate with obstetricians, midwives, and lactation consultants.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update care plans as needed.
- Support new parents with guidance on infant feeding and bonding.
